The Passo del Cavallino refuge is located in the municipality of Capovalle, at an altitude of 1,100 metres. This retreat is surrounded by nature, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It is located right near the Cavallino pass, making it an ideal stop to recharge your batteries. The refuge offers homemade food, using mainly local ingredients from zero kilometer companies. The refuge's cuisine specializes in the Trentino and Brescia culinary traditions.

Nice rest area with charm

The Passo Cavallino refuge is located at 1110m. above sea level where the roads coming up from Vobarno, Treviso Bresciano and Capovalle converge and can also be reached by car.

Built on the ruins of a military construction dating back to the First World War, the bivouac consists of a single room. It contains a fireplace, two large tables with related benches, and a first aid kit. A ladder attached to a wall leads to a mezzanine. There are no cots and blankets. The Baita degli Alpini di Gargnano is located in Località Briano on the southwestern slope of Cima Còmer. "USE OF THE CABIN The structure has been managed by the Alpini Group of Gargnano since its establishment and inauguration (1985). This management will continue in the future until the Alpini Group of Gargnano is able to do so. The structure is open to the public in the summer (from spring to autumn), every Sunday and on public holidays. A duty officer is present on these days to welcome and supervise users, so that users can be helped to experience the day at the refuge in the most correct and positive way possible. The Group does not carry out restaurant and bar services except on some special occasions such as the annual Alpine Festival in July. On opening days, however, everyone can use the structure to make their own meals, using both the internal kitchen and the external fireplaces. Users can use and make use of everything the Group makes available to them: wood, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, tables, wine, drinks, oil... except of course food and drinks. Each individual or group will leave the Alpini Group with an offer, a donation, commensurate and appropriate to what is used and consumed in the refuge itself. Everyone is required to leave the shelter clean and tidy.
