Last refuge immediately after the Gordona rock, at the end of a challenging climb. From here you can descend towards Italy with a fairly challenging descent or turn to Valle di Muggio in Switzerland. Except for an initial section, it can even be done with a gravel. Be careful, the water is not drinkable. Excellent beers and cakes.

One of the most beautiful panoramic points of Lake Como, easily reachable by car (20 minutes from the parking lot). Very good food, recommended for dinner.

Furthermore, the position of Capanna Mara makes it an excellent starting point for longer hikes, leading to Monte Bollettone or Monte Palanzone, both panoramic peaks that offer spectacular views. Capanna Mara is open mainly during the summer season, but it is also a reference point for hikers who want to enjoy the natural beauty of the Larian Triangle.
