The Visconti Tower, a historic building located within Monza Park. It is located in the gardens of Monza Park, in Lombardy. It is a brick structure characterized by a cylindrical tower with battlements and a circular balcony. The building is surrounded by greenery and features decorations such as noble coats of arms on the façade.

The Royal Expiatory Chapel was commissioned by Vittorio Emanuele III, son and successor of Umberto I, to commemorate the place where his father was killed by the anarchist Gaetano Bresci on July 29, 1900. The monument consists of a crypt and a chapel, surmounted by a stele.

The Villoresi Canal cycle path traverses the Lombardy countryside, following the entire length of the Villoresi Canal, the historic waterway built for irrigation in the late 19th century by engineer Eugenio Villoresi. The canal draws water from the Ticino River near Somma Lombardo and, after an 86 km journey, returns it to the Adda River near Groppello. It's an easy, flat cycle route, accessible to all types of bicycles and also suitable for families with children. An ideal place for a day trip, it allows you to explore the area's natural and scenic riches, cycling through cultivated fields, parks, and woods, with several detours to discover the architectural beauty of the many municipalities along the canal, or to continue along other cycle paths along the canal.

A good tour, suitable for everyone. There are occasional interruptions due to maintenance work on the cycle path. However, these are easily overcome with small detours.

The Visconti Tower is one of the architectural structures located within Monza Park. Designed by Canonica in Neo-Gothic style, the building is two stories high with a side portico. The adjacent tower, with a belvedere at its summit, is distinctive. The perimeter walls are made of brick and stone; the floors are wooden, while the vaults of the basement and portico are masonry. The belvedere's ceiling is stone, and the roof of the west wing is a gabled brick and stone structure supported by a beam system. On the east side of the building is a rectangular plaque bearing the Habsburg coat of arms in the center; it is also topped with plant decorations, accompanied by two volutes at its bottom. The building stands within the Royal Gardens, ideally contrasting with the Cascina San Fedele, which, despite being located outside their perimeter, dominates the surrounding landscape, being elevated on a natural slope.

It's easy to make a mistake and continue over the bridge. You get lost on several roads, none of which is the Villoresi cycle path.
