The road to Castro offers a breathtaking panorama along the north-eastern shore of Lake Iseo. The stretch is notable for its beauty, with the road cutting directly into the surrounding rock. The Reserve, established in 1984, takes its name from the particular shape that the moraine deposit of sand, boulders and pebbles has acquired over the centuries, transforming into a strip of rock up to 30 meters high, with large masses lying on their top , to act as protective shields. Inside the Reserve, at a height between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, there is a circular route of medium difficulty, which allows you to closely admire the pyramids and erratic boulders which, presumably, in millions of years will become in turn earth pyramids.

A landscape worth seeing with interesting formations. The small circular hike requires good footwear (not for the "sandal-slipper faction") and some physical fitness.

Lake Iseo by E Bike, if it weren't for the badly marked cycle paths ... it would be a nice ride done in about 4 hours x about 75 Km.

Super cool walk. Beautiful nature. Mostly because of the shade. Beautiful views. Done with our kids, 6 and 8 years old, also doable for them and not dangerous. The path is wide enough everywhere, no narrow abysses or anything. Recommended!
