The Italian/Slovenian border with a border stone and an information panel highlighting the area's warlike past. On the Italian side, the road is paved up to this point; on the Slovenian side, the gravel road begins.

The bivouac is named after the fallen Italian soldier Giuseppe Zanuso. It is located in a sheltered bend directly on the trail. From here, a short climb through meadows leads to a small peak directly on the SLO/ITA border line with its boundary marker, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Slovenia and Italy.

The village of Clodig lies deep in the valley at the confluence of three rivers. It is a small traffic junction because four roads intersect in the village. The village's highlight is a museum with an ethnographic collection containing documents on the environment and culture of the Natisone Valleys (source: https://www.turismofvg.it/de/geschichte-kunst-und-kultur/clodig-ruttar-sammlung?LangSetCMS=de).

A modern classic, as many border stations have become obsolete due to the expansion of EU member states. The border buildings on both sides are well preserved; on the Slovenian side, there is a relic of a building (presumably used by the military).
