This climb is no joke. hard hard and harder. put on your masochist hat and good luck to you. I thought Ventoux was hard, this is worse. there's no shame in stopping to catch your breath. I did it many times and then laughed at myself as I tried to clip in again on a 15% gradient. luckily I was alone so my shame was solitary. I can't say I enjoyed this however. I enjoyed the whiskey I drank at the little bistro back in ovaro.

The Plöckenpass is known for its tunnel bends. From the end of August to mid-September, it's full of motorcycles here. It is an absolute motorcycle highlight with its well-developed road on the Italian side. On the Austrian side it gets bumpy on the asphalt.

A must for every racing cyclist! From Sutrio, the northern, well-developed ascent is the easier one, but only up to the village of Zoncolan... After that it gets tough... if you want it tough from Sutrio, drive a few km south to Priola and take the southern driveway to to the village of Zoncolan. I don't think the more famous western ascent from Liariis needs any further description!
