The Casera Ceresera bivouac, 1347 metres, is an excellent base and rest point in the Cansiglio forest.

The trail system is not ideal, not very well maintained and sometimes I had to rely exclusively on the komoot GPS, however the place is beautiful. The area is used for pasture.

The Malga Val di Lama is private, located on the road that goes up from the Mezzomonte area.

Hiking clothing, boots, comfortable trousers, trekking poles, water and food with you (not present on the whole tour), anything to shelter from the rain in your backpack and change of clothes in the car.

From the sign affixed by the Polcenigo Archaeological Group in 2003 (see photo): "The RISINA is a channel with a semicircular section in stone both excavated, for the upstream stretch about 1600 meters long, and laid (codolath), for about 1700 meters later, which allowed the timber to descend from the Cansiglio, in the form of logs , tais and bore, from a position near the Torion road to Coltura. <...>"

A tour in the cansiglio forest that leads us to discover one of the only two hidden sources

Picnic area for free use along the beautiful Candaglia Forest road, on a well-maintained grassy terrace. It is equipped with benches, tables and baskets for the separate collection of waste. As for the nearby picnic areas of the Bus de la Lum and Archeton, fires cannot be lit (absolute prohibition) so you can stop for a packed lunch.
