Venzone is a small, historic town in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, not far from the Austrian border. Known as one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Italy, Venzone offers a glimpse into the past and a vibrant present.

Clauzetto rightly calls itself the "balcony of Friuli." I know many places with sweeping views of Friuli, and the "round horizon" is best seen from Clauzetto.
