A very nice Malga. Food is delicious and people are very kind.

It's a very cozy bivouac. There's a spring nearby (5-10 minutes). It's also signposted. There's a canister in the bivouac, so it's best to bring it with you. The spring has been expanded so that water can be drawn from a single well. I was there on June 25, 2025. It hadn't rained before. No water came from the expanded spring. About 5 meters further on, the pipe seems to be broken. There's water there, but very little. It takes patience. With a small container for scooping, the water is easy to get.

The Peller Refuge offers welcoming rooms, excellent cuisine and an incomparable view. It is usually open from mid-June to mid-September.

A very nice, quiet valley for a relaxed hike, which is also suitable for prams (stay on the road). The starting point is Sankt Gertraud in the Ulten Valley. There are also parking spaces if you don't want to take the bus from Meran. Walking time for this easy tour: approx. 2 hours comfortably The Kirchbergalm - Kaser (1893 m) in the Kirchbergtal is open from mid-June to mid-September. Own butter production. Traditional alpine dishes. In Sankt Gertraud you can still see the historic Lahn sawmill.

Very nice staff and delicious food

The Pozze bivouac is located in the Maddalene group at an altitude of 1,989 m. Superb and comfortable structure (we are talking about a bivouac!) In stone and wood with kitchen area, large fireplace and huge tables in addition to the mezzanine bed area. The bivouac has space to comfortably accommodate at least 10 people. To report the presence of a source in the immediate vicinity, practically outside the front door. The excellent panoramic position makes the bivouac ideal as a starting point for exploring the surrounding peaks, but also as a meeting place for an alternative evening. I remember that it is a structure (always) open to all: the fundamental requirement is RESPECT and EDUCATION.
