フェンベルガー湖は、南チロル南部の高原にあるのどかな山岳湖および水浴場です。標高1034mに位置し、マルグライド・アン・デア・ヴァインシュトラーセ（Margreid an der Weinstraße）の自治体に属し、国内で最も価値のあるビオトープの一つとされています。約10ヘクタールの保護地域には、35種以上のラン、ザリガニ、スイレン、トンボが生息しています。
