The farm on the mountain is a great stop. The owner is super nice and also lets you charge your batteries. Of course you should also try the specialties like the apple juice, which was super tasty. I don't think I need to spoil the view from there, except that it looks unreal, just like the whole tour.

At about 1600 meters in altitude, just before the top, there is this pleasant Sat/Cai refuge which has recently been reopened after a long period of closure. It can be reached quite easily from Riva del Garda if you have an EMTB, the route does not present particular technical difficulties. For the more daring there are some variations on single treks in the woods that are worth the effort

The San Pietro Refuge is located on Monte Calino, in the Ledro Alps group, a few kilometers from Lake Garda and Lake Tenno, at a height of 974 meters. Born as a "hermitage", home to a hermit, it was purchased by the SAT Section of Riva del Garda in 1930. Expanded and transformed into a refuge, it was inaugurated on June 29, 1931. In 1995, other renovation and expansion works began, works that ended at end of 1996. In 1997 it was reopened to hikers again.
