The Sanctuary of the Madonna dei Campi in Brignano Gera d'Adda (BG) is a 17th-century place of worship nestled in the countryside. The sanctuary is known for a marble statue of the Virgin and Child crushing the devil, attributed to the Fantoni group, and for a polychrome altar from 1725–1727. The sanctuary's history is linked to legends of apparitions or miraculous relocations of a pre-existing statue, although its origins date back to earlier periods.

And within its walls, a very young Francesco Bernardino Visconti, known to all as "the Unnamed," grew up, entrusted to his uncle, the archpriest Galeazzo Visconti, in 1595. Today, it hosts conferences, theater and music festivals, sculpture symposia, and educational workshops.
