A wonderful stop. Both the church and the baptistery were open, and we were able to enter for a visit. It's worth a detour if you're in the area.

The plant has a single nave. Dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of Caravaggio.

It was built between 1935 and 1953. The façade, designed by the architect Pietro Berzolla, is in exposed brick and has, above the access portal, a marble lunette dating back to the 12th century, originally located in another church , created by Nicolò da Ferrara, who is also responsible for the two telamons placed to support the architrave. The bell tower was obtained by adapting a tower of the nearby castle.
