The feeder to the Alfsee near Bramsche in the Osnabrück district of Lower Saxony is located between meadows and fields. It is a stretch of river, the section of which is open to fishing runs from the lock at Sögeln to the Dreihorst bridge. The towns of Hesepe, Rieste and Alfhausen are in the immediate vicinity. The river meanders leisurely through fields and meadows through the open landscape. It is about 15 to 20 meters wide. The feeder is artificially created and comes from the Hase, a small river near the Alfsee. Access to the feeder is largely free and allows for problem-free fishing. The canal is about 2.5 meters deep.
