The ancient village of Saluzzo is gorgeous. Narrow cobbled streets between historic buildings lead up to Castilla, the fortress/castle that towers over the city, a bit like the Spielberg towers over Brno (ironically). A must visit.

Ancient village of Saluzzo, surmounted by the Castilla - fortress-castle that dominates the city, similar to the Spielberg in Brno (ironically). Area to visit absolutely. Climbs a bit tough, cobbled and labyrinthine - here and there I gave up looking for the right road, and shouldered my bike up the steps.
