The Nussbach parish church, dedicated to Saint Leonard, was first documented in 1366. The church, along with its branch churches, was established as an independent parish in 1784, when it was separated from the Kirchdorf parish association. A special feature of this church is the ivy-covered lower section of the church tower, which was declared a natural monument by the government of Upper Austria in 1984 due to its density and compactness.
