💚The famous green sailing ship "Alexander von Humboldt" has been permanently moored at the Schlachte ⚓️ in Bremen since autumn 2016 and welcomes its guests as a 🍴restaurant and catering ship💚. 💚A commercial for 🍻Beck's beer made the "Alexander von Humboldt" world-famous💚. As a sail training ship, the proud three-masted vessel traveled the seas for many years until it was decommissioned in 2011💚. The name Schlachte comes from the Low German word "slait" meaning "to strike" and refers to the wooden pilings driven into the Weser riverbank, where the merchants' ships and boats moored.
