A very well-preserved G91. The Fiat G.91 was a Cold War-era fighter aircraft, initially a single-engine, later a twin-engine. The aircraft was developed by Fiat Aviazione in Italy and was originally intended to replace the US North American F-86 Sabre within NATO.

In a splendid panoramic location, built of Langa stone, it is notable for the Baroque-style decoration of its brick façade. The building's design is attributed to Francesco Gallo, who worked in the Cuneo and Mondovì areas in the first half of the 18th century. The interior retains no decoration. The altar is noteworthy, the last vestige of the pre-existing building. This is evidenced by the fresco depicting the Madonna enthroned breastfeeding the Child, with Saint George, patron saint of Niella Belbo, at her side, dating to the late 15th century. Calizzano is a village in the province of Savona, in the Ligurian hinterland, known for its wooded landscape and tranquility. It is an ideal destination for lovers of outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking, and for mushroom and chestnut picking. The town is renowned for its mineral waters and springs considered beneficial, such as the "Cruvoyra." Its history is ancient, with origins dating back to the Paleolithic, and a past linked to the Del Carretto family. Among the typical products, in addition to forest fruits, the "Calizzano turnip," a Slow Food Presidium, stands out.

Beautiful and scenic road. On weekends, it's best to go elsewhere due to heavy (motorcycle) traffic.

A small park centered around a giant bench and a heart-shaped sculpture. Picnic tables and a recently built café with restrooms are available. Unfortunately, there's no water fountain, but given the location, that's understandable. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
