アブルッツォ州とその隣接地域ラツィオ州の住民は、このPasso Lancianoにまつわる独自のローカルな観察結果を持っています。春に太陽が力強いマジェッラ山塊の後ろに沈むと、アブルッツォ側（つまりPasso Lancianoがある場所）はすぐに暗くなり、夕暮れが訪れますが、山の反対側、ラツィオ州ではまだ明るい昼間が続いています。地元の人々は、同じ瞬間にイタリアの半分が眠りにつき、もう半分がアペリティーボに行くのだと冗談を言っています。

Very scenic ride, quite challenging

Villa San Giovanni is surrounded by a landscape of vineyards and olive groves, enhancing its rural character. A corner of Abruzzo where nature and tradition blend harmoniously.

If you go beyond the end of the paved road, after the telecommunications facilities of the blockhouse, you'll find a paved road that ends on another stretch of gravel road, leading to a sort of small terrace, where you can admire a 360° panorama. A short distance away, you can see a small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows... from there, you'll find trails for hiking or, for a while, for a gravel bike ride.

The places described in the highlight are always open and in the aforementioned park there is an equipped area where there is a drinking fountain.
