A beautiful, recently renovated little palazzo. Ideal for road cyclists: a lockable bike garage, close to the bike path, and excellent ice cream and pleasant trattorias within walking distance.

The view and surface are top-notch. Quiet and traffic-free.

On the main altar of the church is placed the reliquary, containing the testimony of the first Eucharistic miracle.

During the Second World War, a gunpowder depot blew up and seriously damaged the facility. A subsequent landslide destroyed further parts. The facility was restored in 2001. Now it looks almost a bit too new, but the next few centuries will change that again :-)

The stilt houses, known as trabocchi, are typical of the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. These fishing gallows, or fish scales, were used for fishing. The Trabucco Punto Isolata is now a restaurant where you can eat fish. Be sure to check the opening times beforehand, otherwise you'll end up like us and it's a day off.
