The Adriatic Cycle Route runs along the coast, passing the edge of the Santo Stefano pine forest. Not far away is the mouth of the Sinello River, which flows into the Adriatic.

Lake Bomba is an artificial basin created on the Sangro River by an earth dam located in the municipality of Bomba.

You can also continue, there is only gravel for a couple of km going north

Between Fossacesia and Vasto, the Ciclovia Adriatica allows you to cycle constantly without motorized traffic and along the seashore. It is mostly flat and suitable for families and people with little experience on the pedals. Not far from here, moreover, there is the mouth of the Osento river in the Adriatic.

The waves crashing on the pure white pebbles, spreading the scent of the sea and a light melancholy into the air. The Trabocco of Punta Le Morge is even an educational overflow and managed by an association "Lu Travocche" of volunteers who self-tax for its maintenance. In July and August, on Sunday mornings and Thursday afternoons, if sea conditions permit, volunteers offer visitors the free opportunity to see the overflow in operation for fishing.

Palena, in Abruzzo, is known for its historic Ducal Castle, dating back to the 12th century. Although affected by earthquakes and conflicts, the castle has been restored maintaining its majesty. Today it represents a symbol of resistance and beauty in the Maiella region.

Lama dei Peligni, located in the heart of the Maiella National Park in Abruzzo, is famous as the "country of chamois". Immersed in an environment rich in biodiversity, it boasts landscapes including oak groves, steep crags and high plains.
