The Deer Wildlife Area is a magical place in the Majella National Park. Despite its name, it's possible to spot deer, but it's a bit rare.

The Piatra Cernaia makes a fantastic tour for those who want to explore a lesser known part of the Majella National Park, either by bike or on foot.

Pietra Cernaia is located at 1785m immersed in the fabulous scenery of the Maiella Park.

Here is the "Monte Secine" regional state forest, managed by the Castel di Sangro Regional State Forestry Office. Walking in this forest it is possible to come across beech and Turkey oaks.

The Green Falls are located within a Special Area of Conservation (SAC), with the falls originating from the Rio Verde. The organic quality is remarkable, there are crayfish and river crab, the dipper and the yellow wagtail, as well as the peregrine falcon and the red kite.

The green waterfalls are the highest perennial natural waterfalls in the Apennines. In total they fall for over 200 meters before joining the Sangro River.
