There's a nice little campsite in Hechingen, in a quiet location and a short walk to the town center or a supermarket. A good starting point for bike rides and hikes.

Here Rottenburg shows its best side.

Please watch out for pedestrians, otherwise it will be closed to cyclists at some point.

Unfortunately the lake is dried up, not a drop of water left :-(

The Eisweiher pond is currently being drained due to fish mortality and is to be improved. The remnants of the abundant mussel population can be seen here.

The Swallow House was a project of the Fruit and Horticultural Association, the Local History Society, and the local community. The Swallow House was built with the active support of private individuals and companies, as well as funding from the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Here at the Hirschau dam, the Neckar can be easily crossed. According to the sign, cyclists should dismount and push. The Neckar Canal to Tübingen is also controlled from here.
