Radbruch station is a small but important link in the regional rail network between Hamburg and Lüneburg. The station was built during the railway development of the 19th century and was established as a stop on the Hamburg–Hanover line. For a long time, it primarily served commuters and the local agricultural sector, which used the railway to reach markets in Hamburg and Lüneburg. During the expansion of the line to three tracks, Radbruch received a temporary platform, highlighting the town's importance for the infrastructure development. Today, Radbruch is a regional train station, primarily served by the yellow and blue Metronom trains.
