Pesche is a perched village that is nothing short of enchanting. It is located a few kilometers from Isernia. The remains of the Lombard castle are still visible. This country with stone houses offers breathtaking scenery!

This refuge is located about two and a half hours from Isernia and one hour from Pesche. It is inserted in a wonderful natural environment; a few steps from the shed there is an eighteenth-century source.

Isernia is the perfect destination for those who want to discover and enjoy the Apennines. The Fontana Fraterna and the Cathedral of San Pietro Apostolo are two points of interest not to be missed.

The inhabited area is Miranda where the cult of Saint Lucia is particularly felt with the festival dedicated to her which takes place on the last Sunday of August. On this occasion, both residents and tourists gather on the mountain of Santa Lucia not only to attend Holy Mass, but also to participate in a festive and convivial outing.
