Building dating back to 1123 owned by the Basilica of San Nicola with white stone walls that stand out in the countryside of Noicattaro. Today the building serves as a theater for an ancient local tradition: the "Pasquetta nojana". Every first Tuesday after Easter, in fact, the locals flock to the church where mass is celebrated (which is the only one here throughout the year) followed by the tradition of having lunch in the countryside of the area.

Today Torre a Mare is famous for being one of the most suggestive districts of the city of Bari, in the past, however, it was known as a fishing village. In summer, the area is the meeting point for young and old, who crowd the numerous coves in this area in the morning or the central square and the marina in the evening.
