The artist's sculptures can be found in many cities in Europe and around the world - for example in Venice, Shanghai, Cannes, Florence, Miami, or Singapore. They are often exhibited in squares or galleries as monumental figures.

The bodies of Rabaram’s sculptures are covered with motifs resembling puzzles, DNA spirals, writing, tattoos or mathematical symbols – suggesting that humans are complex beings embedded in a larger biological, genetic and cultural order.

The sculpture is located on the lungomare in front of the elegant, historic Villa Genoese Zerbi in Reggio Calabria, which creates an interesting juxtaposition: a modern form contrasting with the neo-Gothic building.

It is a sculpture by Rabarama (Paola Epifani), an Italian artist known for her characteristic sculptures of human figures covered with mosaic patterns resembling puzzles, symbols or geometric forms.

From Catona you have a direct view of the Strait of Messina. On a clear day you can see Sicily very clearly – especially Messina, whose lights form a line on the horizon after dark.

Catona has served as a key port on the Via Popilia since Roman times, allowing passage to Sicily. It is even mentioned by Dante Alighieri, who in "Paradiso" listed it as a border point of southern Italy.

Catona is a coastal district of the city of Reggio di Calabria, located in southern Italy, in the region of Calabria, directly on the Strait of Messina. It is a quiet town, part of the so-called area metropolitana di Reggio Calabria.
