The church tower clock has a beautiful clock face, which is very rare in Franconia. In the church, several old gravestones can be found on the walls as decoration. Could they be from the time of the old moated castle? We don't know. Perhaps someone will solve the mystery....

Castle park with carp pond. Spacious. Surrounded by walls. Free access in summer. Not in winter.

The hall church is essentially Romanesque. The lower floor of the choir tower and the lower parts of the nave walls were built around 1200. The church was later rebuilt in Baroque style. In 1723, the choir tower received an octagonal, slate-roofed roof turret covered with an onion dome based on a design by Johann Georg Kannhäuser, which houses the tower clock and the belfry. The interior of the nave, covered with a gable roof, is covered with a flat ceiling on joists. In 1667, when the damage from the Thirty Years' War was repaired, it was given an angular gallery.

Very nice corner and good starting point for various walking tours.
