The second highest relief in the Alcamo area, from which you can enjoy - if you don't get hail like me - breathtaking views, ranging from the Alcamo countryside, to the Gulf of Castellammare, Lake Poma, the small Monrealese hamlet of Grisì and the mountains of the Palermo area. About ten km away from the city center, on this promontory, an important archaeological site from the late archaic age was fortuitously discovered in the early 2000s. Today on the crest of the mountain there is a wind farm, whose connecting roads allow it to be climbed, although not exactly easy, given the slopes of the ramps

Hikers simply call it "la Moarda", it is an alignment of peaks, or peaks of almost equal height, overlooking the town of Altofonte. The highest peak would be Punta Terzo Cielo, indicated with an altitude of 1088 m.

The mountain rises to 1,156 m, from its top you can enjoy a wide view of the surrounding landscape: to the north stands Montagna Longa (975 m), the municipalities of Partinico and Borgetto. To the west on clear days it is possible to see the Oriented Natural Reserve of the Zingaro, up to the Monti di Trapani. To the east you can see the city of Palermo, the Conca d'Oro, and the Mountains of Palermo.

At the penultimate bend, almost hidden, there is a road to the left that leads up to the top. If you go to the right instead there is the lookout tower
