There's a strange vibe right under the antennas, but the view is nice. A place further down is better recommended for a break.

Hikers simply call it "la Moarda", it is an alignment of peaks, or peaks of almost equal height, overlooking the town of Altofonte. The highest peak would be Punta Terzo Cielo, indicated with an altitude of 1088 m.

The mountain rises to 1,156 m, from its top you can enjoy a wide view of the surrounding landscape: to the north stands Montagna Longa (975 m), the municipalities of Partinico and Borgetto. To the west on clear days it is possible to see the Oriented Natural Reserve of the Zingaro, up to the Monti di Trapani. To the east you can see the city of Palermo, the Conca d'Oro, and the Mountains of Palermo.

At the penultimate bend, almost hidden, there is a road to the left that leads up to the top. If you go to the right instead there is the lookout tower

Highest point above Palermo with a view of both the gulf of Palermo and Monte Cuccio and a view of the gulf of CAstellammare. The climb can be pedaled by Gravel bike or MTB starting from the equipped area of Piano Casaboli which can be reached from Pioppo. It can also be reached from San Martino delle scale (mountain village) with a beautiful view via Portella Bianca. But some sections are bad and you have to push the bike for more than a KM so I don't recommend this option.

MTB only. But the climb is not always pedaled

You can get there by MTB but not for everyone Some sections are difficult and the bike must be pushed by hand. But during and after the effort it is rewarded by a magnificent view.
