Walking in the historic center you can meet the fruit and vegetable seller who, with his bee full of colored boxes, shouts something to attract the attention of buyers.

Wonderful characteristic village, with the majestic Duomo

A village in the Madonie park with around a thousand inhabitants, Gratteri is located on a panoramic hill above Cefalù and the first traces of habitation in the area probably date back to the late Bronze Age or the beginning of the Iron Age. Worth visiting is the so-called "Matrice Vecchia" church and, just outside the town centre, the Abbey of San Giorgio, from the Norman era.

Municipality of around 8,000 inhabitants, Castelbuono is located between Isnello and San Mauro Castelverde, in the Madonie park. It boasts numerous churches and at least two places of absolute interest: the Ventimiglia castle and the fountain of Venus Ciprea. Furthermore, during the first or second week of August, the Ypsigrock festival takes place, born in 1997 and which has become an important music festival.
