Lercara Friddi, a fascinating municipality, is located near the slopes of Colle Madore, famous for its Sicanian archaeological remains, nestled between the suggestive Landro valley and the river valley of Fiumetorto and Platani.

Castronovo di Sicilia, located in the metropolitan city of Palermo, boasts ancient origins with troglodyte dwellings. Known for its historical heritage, including the Norman Castle and several churches.

Lake Fanaco is a beautiful artificial basin in Sicily, created in 1953. It is home to flora, fauna and serves for drinking water. The road along the lake is very quiet.

Lake Pian del Leone is a characteristic artificial lake in the Sicilian landscape, immersed in the Sicani Park. Its shore can be reached by bicycle, but the route around it is only suitable for MTB or gravel.

The Alia belvedere is a terrace that overlooks the valley and offers a breathtaking view of the agricultural landscape and the surrounding hills. It is an ideal place to enjoy the sunset and there is also a bar to have a coffee or refresh yourself on hot summer days.

It is an artificial basin in Sicily which falls within the municipality of Castronovo di Sicilia. The reservoir, built between 1951 and 1953 by damming the Platani river, is located in the southern area of a wide valley, in the center of an immense natural concavity between two long chains of mountains running parallel to each other. The lake is 3.5 km long and 1 km wide at its widest point and can accommodate 20.7 million cubic meters at its maximum reservoir level.

The village of Cammarata rises at the base of the mountain of the same name and is located within the Monte Cammarata oriented nature reserve. Some artifacts found in the surrounding caves suggest that this area was inhabited since prehistoric times. The first written testimony, however, dates back to the Norman period around the year 1000 AD. The center of the town has maintained its medieval urban characteristics and the southern wing of the Castle of Cammarata is still visible and can be visited. Another site not to be missed is the Norman-style Mother Church of San Nicola di Bari, although rebuilt in the seventeenth century, it houses one of the oldest pipe organs on the entire island (dating back to around 1500).
