After heavy rainfall, the large waterfalls are magnificent in the Unesco Global Nature Park.

Step by step it goes up to the water hole, you cover a total of 1.6 kilometers and 365 meters in altitude. You hike past five waterfalls on well-secured wooden walkways and when you reach the top you can enjoy a fabulous view. You can then recharge your batteries in the Wasserlochschenke. Welcome to the Gasthof Hensle in St. Gallen in Austria! The solid wooden climbing system built by the municipality of Palfau between 1986 and 1992 will take you safely up high. The path winds its way up step by step past 5 impressive waterfalls with a total drop of 152 meters and wooden bridges spanning gorges. The water falls an intoxicating 67 meters at the gorge's highest point, the two-stage Schleierfall.
