When crossing the Alps in 2015, I was served a portion of Kaiserschmarrn that I just couldn't make. She was that big😋😋😂

The hut in the Schweinfurt section of the German Alpine Club is very popular in summer as a starting point for many mountain tours ... and in winter for ski and snowshoe tours. http://www.dav-schweinfurt.de/huetten/schweinfurter-huette/

Super great hut but not accessible by car or cable car. Shortly after Gries, the road ends at a large parking lot. From there it's 6km on foot or by bike. Partly very steep! You should have a good basic level of fitness to tackle the route to the hut. After 3.5 km you cross the Sulztal Alm, where you could also take a break. Now have fun and good weather.
