Peña Oviedo, a modest summit with views of the mountainous surroundings of the Camaleño valley. Starting from Mogrovejo, the route runs along wide, well-paved trails, mostly through forest areas. The best thing is the panoramic views that we will enjoy as we gain altitude.

Great starting point for a tour to Picu Urriellu

Great vantage point! Can be reached on foot by hiking along the Rio Duje.

Right at the start, after about 10-15 minutes of hiking, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Pico Urriellu. Be aware that it can be very windy at times.

The most easily accessible peak of the Picos de Europa. The 360° views at the top are amazing.

You only need to go a little off the beaten path to reach the top. It is not an imposing mountain in itself, but it offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Picos de Europa...if the clouds allow it.

The top of Peña Oviedo rises above 1,300 meters above sea level and offers unparalleled views of the entire interior of the Picos de Europa Park, a wonderful place. The last few meters are quite demanding but even if you have to push the bike, don't hesitate to do it!

The vantage point at the top station of the Fuente De cable car offers a great view of the valley 750m below and the surrounding peaks and is also the starting point and/or end point of some hikes in the high altitudes of the Picos. If you want to walk up or down again, you can either choose a very short but very steep path below the cable car or take the PR-PNPE 24 "Puertos de Áliva" in a wide arc through the mountain landscape with a moderate incline or decline.
