Spiaggia della Purità, the Gallipoli people are rightly proud of it. The only beach in the historic center close to the city walls.

This panoramic point is located in the old part of the city of Gallipoli, on the island (well connected to the mainland) in front of the port. The port itself is clearly visible from here, in a panorama that becomes even more beautiful at sunset.
