リフージョ・マニアゴは、フリウリ・ドロミーティ自然公園の中心部、ヴァル・ゼモラの景色の良い谷間にある標高1,730メートルの場所にあります。ドゥッラーノ山のそびえ立つ壁に囲まれたこの歴史的な石造りの建物は、フリウリ・ドロミーティ・リングを歩く登山家やハイカーにとって重要な拠点となっています。このリフージョは、その本格的な雰囲気と、驚くほど美しい石灰岩の尖塔を間近で眺めることができる戦略的なロケーションで有名です。通常カセラ・メーラの近くから始まるこのリフージョへの道のりは、シャモアやアイベックスをしばしば見かけることができる、手つかずの魅力的な環境を蛇行しています。観光客の多い場所から離れて、静寂と手つかずの自然を求める人に理想的な場所です。

The Giaf refuge is located at 1400 meters above sea level. It is one of the support points for entering the Friulian Dolomites park from the north.

The Maniago Refuge, at 1,730 m, is located in the Friulian Dolomites, is open from June to September, and offers typical local cuisine and overnight accommodation. Starting point for ascents to Cima Duranno and Cime Centenere.
