Absolutely recommended, even if the path from Geising is very steep, but the view from the tower rewards you and the funny and friendly hospitality. Garlic is a must here. My garlic fritters were delicious.

Definitely a great thing the 14 8000ers of the Osterzgebirge. The lap is around 72km in total and can be comfortably run in 3 stages.
