Stupid driveway to the mountain station. No idea who posts such trails. Can only have been an EMTB driver. It goes on a rough cart path with up to 21% 4Km uphill!!!! It is better to take the road to the mountain station and follow the hiking trail to Monte Rosa. Only then go on the route and follow the trail to Chiavari. Even if S3 is entered on the map, it is consistently S2 with a few S3 digits. From Monte Rosa it is a flowing trail if you are not a beginner. Fun is guaranteed and you will hardly find anything better.

We tried the ring route from Rapallo of 27km and 1060m D + which is defined for MTB. In fact it is up to point 4 (Passo Crocetta), after which it becomes a path for expert hikers with a walk that gets worse near Mount Manico del Lume with climbing on very exposed sections even on via ferratas in chains that require experience and above all dangerous to be tackled with a MTB following. Unfortunately, given the accumulated delay we had to abandon the track at Passo Serra opting for the path that leads to Chignero and the return to Rapallo. I strongly advise against it for MTB and inexperienced hikers.
