The town center of Weiler im Allgäu is compact, well-maintained, and ideal for a short break. Between the market square, fountain, and small shops, you can easily interrupt your tour. If you like, you can quickly find something to drink or pop into a café.

Beautifully designed fountain with some cast-iron figures directly in front of the town hall.

The center of Scheidegg, around Zollstraße, features some beautiful old houses. The town itself lies on a high plateau and is the westernmost resort town in the Allgäu region.

A priest is mentioned in Sulzberg in 1396, and a parish church in 1427. From 1828 to 1829, the nave was rebuilt and expanded according to plans by Alois Negrelli von Moldelbe. It was consecrated in 1833. Restorations took place from 1875 to 1882 and again in 1950.
