The small Ohrum Church is located on the outskirts of Ohrum. A church in Ohrum was first mentioned in the founding charter of St. Michael's Monastery in Hildesheim in 1022. The small church grounds are kept very natural and are surrounded by tall trees.

The Halchter mill is number 32 in the northern Harz foothills. The Dutch windmill was built in 1877 and shut down in 1953. There are a total of 36 stamping stations in the northern Harz foothills.

Due to its construction and working methods, the Halchter mill is a unique testament to the transition from manual to industrial technology in this region. Its grinding mechanism has remained almost unchanged since it was created. The mill operated until 1956.

The windmill on the Bungenstedter Turm is located south of the Wolfenbüttel village of Halchter, between the Oker and the former B4.
