The Berlin-Hameln cycle path (RBH for short) covers a total distance of 400 km and connects the Weser Uplands (Hameln) with the Brandenburg-Potsdam Havel area (Berlin) and crosses the Leine Uplands, the Hildesheim Börde, the Schöppenstedter Mulde, the Magdeburg Börde, the Elbe meadows, Fläming and Zauche. On the other hand, the route has been chosen in such a way that mainly easy to cycle paths away from traffic are used. In Lower Saxony, the RBH is already fully signposted (i.e. between Hamelin and Schöningen with the Schöningen research museum); this is also the case in Saxony-Anhalt (between Hötensleben and Üplingen) and in Brandenburg (between Dippmannsdorf and Lehnin). Another signage is planned. The ADFC-Hildesheim looks after the RBH and makes various maps, geodata and a smartphone app (for Android) available on the homepage, with which the route can be easily understood and navigated.
