At the summit of the Ebersnacken stands the 26-meter-high Ebersnacken Tower, an open-plan timber-framed observation tower with an internal staircase, whose viewing platform towers above the surrounding treetops. A 13-meter-high surveying tower was built on the Ebersnacken as early as 1890. A new tower was built in 1922, but collapsed in 1946. The Bodo Tower is a 20-meter-high steel-frame observation tower on the Zimmertalskopf. Its name comes from the knight Bodo, who was the overlord of the town of Bodenwerder in the 12th/13th centuries.
