For me, the most important thing is what Michael writes about the Iller Cycle Path. It's boring, with lots of forested stretches and no view. It's only usable from Immenstadt onward. The Günz Valley Cycle Path is varied, but it can get crowded on weekends.

Natascha's poor view is as much a part of the Allgäu as cheese. The weather here is very changeable, and even I, a Kempten native, am rarely blessed with a clear view. If you want consistently good weather, you'll have to go to Florida. Whoever rated Natascha's photos negatively hasn't given any thought to the harsh Allgäu weather.

Delicious cheese, as well as quark, yogurt, cream cheese, eggs, and potatoes, are available at the Untrasried dairy. The Emmental cheese with its many holes is particularly good here.

I prefer shopping in Sellthürn because it's quieter than in Immenthal. Combined with a tour from Kempten, it's simply perfect.

Sellthürn is a pleasantly quiet place to shop, and the bike path is beautiful. Tastes differ. I won't be shopping in Immenthal anymore, as it can take a long time due to the large crowds. That's why the simple, rustic seating area can be uncomfortable. It's next to the door with no physical separation from the store.

In future, I will buy this fantastic cheese at a reasonable price directly in Sellthürn, as it is much quieter there. The selection is great, the small seating area not so much. The door is next to it and was either open or constantly opening and closing. A small wooden wall would make the whole place more comfortable, especially after sweating on your bike. The cheese platter is good, but the largest piece was a thick slice of dry hard cheese, and there were two half slices of bread for the various cheeses. I had to order another one. I took the hard cheese with me. There was just too much. I was bothered by the crowds, especially when the line went right up to the front door. Luckily, I had already paid, so I was able to leave right away.
