A fantastic cycling route and hiking trails lead through here, surrounded by beautiful nature. A trip here is absolutely spectacular and highly recommended.

Dante's ice cream parlor is not only a great place to enjoy ice cream in a lovely atmosphere, but also offers breakfast and delicious pizza. The ice cream is still made in-house and beautifully presented. The staff is incredibly friendly and remains calm even when the parlor is packed. Highly recommended.

A fantastic ice cream parlor in Horneburg with a lovely outdoor terrace. They still make their own ice cream here. Delicious, by the way. They also offer a great menu. Highly recommended! 👍🏼

Very interesting and informative at the same time 👍🏼 A rest stop is recommended. There is also a stork's nest here which is occupied during stork season.

A hiking and cycling route leads along a beautiful avenue with old cobblestones and mature trees. The edges are easily navigable by bike. The route is manageable and highly recommended 👍🏼.

The Neukloster Forest is a beech forest with trees up to approximately 200 years old. Originally used by the monastery for which it is named, it is home to several, sometimes rare, animal and plant species. A short hike of about 4.5 km through the Neukloster Forest is wonderful. From the Pfingstmarktplatz parking lot, the W4 hiking trail leads into the forest, passing historical and archaeological treasures such as burial mounds and wayside crosses. Follow the signs to the Friedwald parking lot and turn left there to return to the Pfingstmarktplatz parking lot.
