暖かい日には、サイクリストは水浴びをする人々を羨ましそうに見つめます。しかし、その勢いは次の登りのために必要です。

The restaurant "Der Insulaner" in Malchow is an excellent recommendation for a stop during a bike ride. It is located directly on the historic swing bridge with a stunning view of Lake Malchow and offers a spacious outdoor terrace, which is particularly popular in good weather. The kitchen serves classic German dishes with seasonal specialties. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service friendly, making the restaurant a pleasant stop for cyclists. The restaurant is also part of a hotel, making it particularly convenient for longer stays or as a starting point for tours. Anyone looking for an enjoyable break with a beautiful view will find what they are looking for here.

The trail runs between Lenz and the Malchow Nature Camp and leads through ancient beech forests along the eastern shore of Lake Plau. The path, narrow in places, runs partly directly along the lake and partly slightly elevated. It is natural, technically moderately difficult, and ideal for mountain bikes or gravel bikes. Roots and short climbs provide variety, and there are always magnificent views over the lake. This route is ideal for cyclists seeking a combination of athletic challenge and enjoyment of nature. The proximity to the lake and the passage through the beech forest make it a special experience in the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Magnificent! The view of Lake Plau is expansive, tranquil, and impressive. From the shore, a panorama opens up over the clear, often slightly shimmering water, stretching to the horizon. In good weather, the sky is reflected in the water's surface, while the rolling hills of the lake district can be seen in the distance – a peaceful scene that invites you to take a deep breath.

There is a restaurant with boat rental and a beautiful swimming area nearby.

Restaurant right next to the swing bridge. In the beer garden you can watch the spectacle when the bridge is opened.
