The way up to the Dronketurm is always worth it. From here you can see the beautiful Eifel landscape for miles. Village shop in Schalkenmehren. Here, as a hiker, you can stock up on small snacks, drinks, hygiene items and everything you need. It's not a classic supermarket but rather a nicely furnished souvenir shop with Eifel specialties. You can buy bread and rolls in the cafe next door. We bought the Eifelsteigpins here for €2.50
