There's a nice bike lane along Siemensallee, but only for cyclists heading into the city. For those heading out of the city, you have to use the shared pedestrian/bike path. This is better suited to a gravel bike/bicycle; it's not very suitable for a road bike heading out of the city.

The cycle path runs partly parallel to the trolley route and on the route to the Andergasser Fest in Hambach.

The cafe at the old brickworks is a hub and stopover on any tour of the Palatinate. Food and drink are excellent. The service is friendly and attentive. There are approximately 30 seats inside, and over 100 outside in the beer garden. The view of the Rhine is breathtaking. The Zeigelei (a small village) behind the building is open to the public.
