Unfortunately, I have to take back my tip from 2018! I wanted to go to Almstadl with my wife today to eat. I sent everything back...I've never had such food anywhere before and it's expensive too...I think they're new tenants...Never again Almstadl!!!...it would be smarter to stop off at Lore (inn) straight after.

Beautiful and easy circular hike. There is a paid parking lot right by the lake (car €3.- / day) The nicer path runs along the left bank, i.e. if you go anti-clockwise from the parking lot. On the other side, the route goes mostly on asphalt and with not so much direct "contact" with the lake back to the starting point.

I have never visited the restaurant, but the tour is beautiful

There is a direct circular path around the lake. There are several places to stop for refreshments near the car park
