オーディンシュタイン、現在のヨハネスベルクは、古代の聖地です。ヨハネスベルク礼拝堂の建立時期は不明ですが、文書には1356年に初めて言及されています。16世紀から、この礼拝堂は洗礼者聖ヨハネに捧げられています。そのカートゥールワークスの祭壇には、オランダのマニエリスム作家による見る価値のある絵画が飾られています。ヨハネスベルクの南壁には、1964年から1966年にかけて、二度の世界大戦の犠牲者を追悼するために、学術彫刻家ヨーゼフ・モーザーによって制作された地元の戦争記念碑が刻まれています。

Great view of the Traunstein and the surrounding area. If you walk quickly, you can reach the summit in 1 hour. The path from the summit to the right further down is partly overgrown but recognizable (waterproof shoes are an advantage if you are out and about in the morning...wet, tall grass)

It is so indescribably beautiful here. You actually always meet other cyclists who are great to talk to. Beautiful area and landscape!!

In Traunkirchen you can not only experience the most beautiful culture and landscape; there is also a colorful world of leisure activities waiting for active people: a well-marked network of paths opens up an attractive hiking area.
